Mountain Bike Holiday at Das Central:
Between 600 and 3,000 metres above sea-level, the Ötztal has virtually everything you need for a mountain bike paradise. A unique variety of tours and free means of transport for your bike make the longest tributary valley of the Inntal a hot spot for mountain bike professionals. The Ötztal cycling landscape offers uphill challenges, demanding single tracks and wonderfully scenic tours. The valley can boast 874 kilometres and 37,549 metres in height of official MTB routes.
Downhill routes in the yellow level of difficulty lead along all kinds of chicanes; obstacles, tricky drops and gaps make the Ötztal single trails real challenges for mountain bikers, especially around Sölden or at the Festkogel and Moosersteig. One of the highlights in Ötztal is definitely the 4,600-metre-long Gaislachkogl single trail, which starts in Sölden at exactly 3,058 metres above sea-level. The extraordinary location, north-shore elements and newly placed curves make the trail a unique and unforgettable experience. It is not for nothing that the trail is regarded as one of the hardest downhill routes in Austria. The Gaislachkogl single trail can be easily reached using the Gaislachkogl cable-way.
Discover all the single trails in the Ötztal and go charging courageously downhill with your mountain bike!
